Disney Mulan Or Tenet - What to watch and why

Disney Mulan fall's below in China while Tenet gets drop in US. Disney and Warner Bros. are trying to overcome the loss during pandemic. Warner Bros. wants to start recovering from their losses through Tenet, the same Disney chose Mulan for this. However none of them get their desired response.

Mulan was made specifically for chinese audience but flopped at China's Box Office. Grossing only $23.2 million over past three days. Whereas Avengers:Endgame collected $175.9 million over its first weekend. Conversely, Disney Mulan was the biggest movie at China's Box Office over past week.

Mulan Aniamted Movie 1998

Despite being a remake of the 1998 animated movie, Mulan could not play her magic. The film was revamped due to which actors like Donnie Yen and Jet Li were also not able to hit the film. However this is not the only reason COVID-19 is also responsible for the bad performance of Disney Mulan.

While Warner Bros. suffered because of Christopher Nolan's thinking. There is no doubt that Christopher Nolan is a great director and his film is of a different level. Interstellar, the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception is a great example of his thinking. But people could not accept his thinking in Tenet. His film is giving support to such a government that is violating human rights.

US senators suggest that one of his film productions was collaborating with a government that oppressed human rights.

Tenet has grossed only $6.7 million on it's second week. This makes for a 66.8 percent drop from the already reported soft $ 20.2 million during Labor Day weekend. The over all collection till now is more than $200 million.

So What Should We Watch ?

None of then achieved huge opening, but still how good the film is, it tells its story, not its earnings.
Both Movies have good stories.
Mulan tells the actual place of women in society and Tenet shakes the mind. Both films are good and you won't regret after watching any of these movies. But Mulan is not as interesting as Tenet.
